NCMA seeks a full-time qualified and experienced communications professional to join our friendly team. You will play a pivotal role in the strategy, leadership and supercharging of our fundraising and development efforts.
The ideal candidate will have qualifications in communications and marketing together with experience in fundraising and donor stewardship in the not-for profit sector. A background in music or the performing arts would be highly advantageous.
You will be a calm, professional and positive team member who thrives in a context where resources are limited and expectations are high.
Applicants must hold NZ permanent residency with work rights.
This position is offered initially as a fixed-term appointment commencing Monday 30 August 2022 and ending 01 September 2023, but will be extended as funding allows. Remuneration starts at $60,000 per year plus recognition for relevant experience, You will work 37.5 hours per week between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility in hours to meet the demands of the job. You will work from our historic, purpose-built facility in central Nelson.
