We are proud to stock a range of beautiful Taonga by Timoti in our Museum Shop.
Timoti is the creator extraordinaire, working hard to carve all of the magical pieces that we sell in our shop, and Morganne is the muka that binds it all together. From their home in the Aniseed Valley, they find, carve and share these precious taonga. Each piece is unique with a different feel, weight and colour.
But there is something that makes this taonga even more special…
Taonga by Timoti have started an incredible initiative that we would like to share with you.
Taonga by Timoti whole heartedly believe that tamariki are a treasure to be nurtured, to grow and to flourish. Reaching that point requires many things, among which is the childs ability to be seen, to be heard and to be loved. Through the gifting of taonga pounamu, they aim to give that gift of visibility and aroha, to every tamariki in care, in Aotearoa.
Every time you buy a piece of taonga by Timoti, they will carve a pendant to be gifted to a tamariki in care.
