The Nelson Airport Rescue Fire Service invites everyone to join them on a gold coin donation sunset walk of Nelson Airport’s runway this 25 February at 8pm to raise funds for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand and the Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge.
Bring the whole family to enjoy this unique experience as the Rescue Fire Service takes you on to the apron then to down the entire length of the runway with a close up look at their new fire truck, Flick.
Meet inside the terminal through the Arrivals door.
Parking is free for the event and assistance during the walk is available for those who need it via one of our golf carts. The walk will take roughly 45 mins to an hour.
