🏗️ Construction Update
It’s full steam ahead at MORRISON. The future boutique hotel site is now completely flat – foundations and concrete panels removed. The former Columbus Café site is in a similar state, making way for what will become a new public piazza and event space. Partial deconstruction of the building on the corner of Morrison St and Selwyn Place is also well advanced. A new MORRISON is coming.
Progress continues across the MORRISON site.
Work is currently focused on the eastern block (future boutique hotel), where the crane has been removing concrete panels and structural steel. Next is the removal of the foundations.
Across at the northern and western blocks, internal deconstruction is now largely complete.
