From remote South Island landscapes to the jar in your kitchen: Biohoney
From remote South Island landscapes to the jar in your kitchen 🍯🐝
At Biohoney, the honey harvesting process starts long before the honey is poured into a jar. Our master beekeepers carefully place hives in some of New Zealand’s most pristine locations, where bees forage on native flowers like Mānuka, Rātā, and Beech Forest trees.
Once the honey is ready, it’s harvested from the hive and processed as little as possible — just enough to move it from the comb into the jar. No unnecessary heating, no blending, and no shortcuts. This helps preserve the honey’s natural enzymes, nutrients, and full flavour.
Every batch is unique, reflecting the season, the flowers, and the landscape the bees called home. In fact, many of our jars include a QR code so you can trace where your honey was foraged. 🌿✨
Pure New Zealand honey. Harvested with care. Crafted by nature. 💛
