NZ Cider Festival 2026 – Headliner announced!
We’re stoked to announce that Sonar Flare will headline NZ Cider Festival 2026.
Featuring musicians connected to Opshop, The Feelers, Zed, Sola Rosa, Synthony, Kaylee Bell and more, Sonar Flare bring together a rare cross-section of Aotearoa rock history in one high-energy live band.
Across Opshop, The Feelers and Zed alone, the collective catalogue represents more than 158,000 combined monthly Spotify listeners, at least 12 New Zealand Music Awards / Tūī, an APRA Silver Scroll, multiple platinum releases, number one albums, number one singles and songs that have become part of New Zealand’s shared musical memory.
Sonar Flare will perform a full two-hour headline set from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, closing the festival with iconic Kiwi anthems, reimagined favourites, festival classics and fresh original energy.
